She’s Home!                                                              Unconfinded joy All Round!

There were squeals of delight and pure joy mixed with some relief and loads of pride at seeing their charge appear from the arrival hall at 8.20pm on the evening of March 16th 2015. It was exactly 10 months to the day when the SWEPA Barefoot Solar Project was launched by Bunker Roy at Kampung Sonsogon Magandai and Tarihing was selected to go to Barefoot College in Tilonia.India. She has braved the journey into the unknown, overcome all obstacles – physical, social, cultural and emotional as well as mental to become Malaysia’s first solar engineer graduate from Barefoot College. The joy was palpable as the whole group, led by Tarihing herself broke into the song ‘Sayang Kinanbau’ and ‘sumazaued’ to the amazement of all other arriving passengers! WELCOME HOME TARIHING! YOU HAVE MADE US PROUD!
